Job Description

Leadership
  • Support the growth and development of business operations related activities to support the commercial growth and development of our Service-related activities.
  • Sustain and enhance our overall leadership position by contributing to a strategy and vision for the complete spectrum of Delivered Services related activities.
  • Provide emphasis on business management training and expertise within the group.
  • Support the enhancement of the many administrative processes that are utilized to support the various Service units.
  • Support the development of new products and services.
  • Support automation related activities including approaches like RPA (Robotic Processing Automation).
  • Support the use of tools and processes by the team including related JIRA boards.
  • Foster a positive working environment.
Business Operations
  • Provide oversight and management of global service projects for Delivered Services customers by working routinely with sales and Solution Engineers to craft deals.
  • Work closely with our sales and marketing teams to ensure that the latest sales collateral is up-to-date and relevant.
  • Conduct periodic product demonstrations and webinars to support the commercial growth of our service-related activities.
  • Contribute and participate in customer meetings related to projects and the services we are providing our customers.
  • Work closely to support the Administrative staff and their activities including customer onboarding, project implementation, request processing, and billing.
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve business management processes.
  • Work closely with other Delivered Service members on client projects to support their success as necessary.
  • Support efforts to monitor and optimize existing processes.
  • Ensure Verisk 3E compliance with standards and quality initiatives.
Reporting
  • Provide visibility for key business functions. i.e., project scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
  • Manage fiscal analysis through the development of forecasting, metrics, and gauges to monitor the health of the various Delivered Service activities.
  • Provide regular reports and updates for management and leadership.
  • Prepare key insights based on data analysis and present reports to management for review and action.
  • Support the preparation of metrics and requests to correlate business demands with resource requirements.
  • Support the reporting of service performance metrics with our Business Operations team.
Other
  • Maintain an environment that supports continuous revenue growth.

Required

Qualifications
  • BA/BS/MBA/MS degree in Chemistry, Business Management, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience working with a wide array of external data sets and associated processing.
  • 3+ years supporting commercially related activities include sales support calls, product demonstrations, webinars, and preparation of marketing collateral.
  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • Proven experience preparing quantitative based management reports conveying KPIs and metrics.
  • Possess excellent presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in setting objectives based on company direction, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Record of fostering a team spirit and working in a team-first environment.
  • Possess a strong background in working with information management systems and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated, capable of establishing business plans in accordance with management objectives and implementing them in a team environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and capability to self-manage competing priorities and problems.
  • Creative thinking abilities for anticipating challenges as well as generating solutions for problems.
  • Practical experience and familiarity with various global business cultures.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Business travel domestic and international required.
