Responsibilities
- Conduct construction site evaluations to assess compliance and OSHA Safety compliance.
- Verify that proper Erosion and Sediment control practices (BMPs) and Safety Measures requirements are in compliance with pertinent regulations
- Conduct field work, including soil and groundwater water sampling, drilling oversight and soil logging, soil boring and monitoring well installation and well development
- Perform and manage Phase I and II environmental site assessments.
- Compile and evaluate data and assist in report preparation
- Assist in data interpretation and preparation of site work plans, spreadsheets, figures, and technical reports.
- Communicate with subcontractors, regulatory personnel, tenants, and clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Geology or Environmental Sciences or related discipline
- 2 - 5 years of experience with site evaluations and assessments
- 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification required
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Proficient with MS Office software suite to prepare technical documents; Advanced MS Excel skills a plus
