We are seeking highly motivated research associates with expertise in molecular biology who will become key contributors to our discovery team. The position requires working within a team to leverage our platform for target discovery and target validation experiments. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in molecular, cellular, or biochemical techniques and the desire to apply that foundation to learning new technologies. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small team and translate knowledge about brain circuitry into transformative therapies.

Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- RNA/DNA isolation, qRT-PCR, Western blotting
- Spatial transcriptomics
- Brain tissue sectioning, immunohistochemistry, and confocal microscopy
- Troubleshooting molecular and cellular assays
- Maintain updated experimental protocols and SOPs
- Establish relationships with outside vendors and CROs
- Communicate and present experimental results within the discovery team and company-wide
meetings
Requirements
- BS or MS related to neurobiology with 2-5 years of experience in academic or biotechnology/pharmaceutical laboratory
- Ability to design and carry out multi-step experiments with limited supervision
- Experience with broad biochemical, molecular and cellular techniques
- Experience with fluorescent in situ hybridization for the detection of DNA or RNA
- NGS analysis and R/Python programming a plus
- Organized and detail-oriented with ability to communicate results effectively
- Must work cooperatively in a goal-oriented team environment
