Direct-hire opportunity for a Scientist I/II/III with flow cytometry / FACS and primary cell culture experience interested in immuno-oncology, personalized medicine, and RNA based vaccines! This is a full-time position with room for growth.

What You Will Be Doing

Primary Focus
  • Set-up and perform flow cytometry with 4+ colors, training others on it as needed
  • Develop and execute in vitro assays for the characterization of nucleic acid products (plasmid DNA, RNA, oligonucleotides)
  • Develop and perform immunoassays like ELISA, RT-qPCR, luminescence, bDNA, Capillary Electrophoresis, western blot, etc.
  • Use of bioassay analysis instrumentation (e.g. multimode plate readers, MSD, ELLA, Li-Cor, etc.)
  • Use of analytical software tools (e.g. SoftMax Pro, Prism, etc. )
  • Think strategically and creatively about the science
Additional Responsibilities May Include
  • Assist in the development and modification of novel delivery methods for RNA transfer into target cells using lipid nanoparticles
  • Collaborate with translational immunology animal handling group
  • Tech transfer to manufacturing for use in clinical trials
What You Need for this Position

Education
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related field with relevant, Scientist-level experience leading to the ability to perform requirements independently
Required
  • Strong flow cytometry experience developing panels with 6+ colors
  • Primary cell culture (human or non-human)
  • Ability to work independently and think creatively as a scientist
Preferred
  • Nucleic acid products (plasmid DNA, RNA, oligonucleotides, SAM), esp. liposomes or nanoparticles
  • Immunoassay experience (ELISA, MSD, western blot, etc.)
  • Rt-qPCR
  • Transfection
