Job Description
Company Overview
Plexium is a pharmaceutical company focused on developing first-in-class therapeutics by targeting and modulating E3 ligases. Our propriety DELPhe platform enables us to disrupt and redefine high-throughput screening through the use of miniaturization. We are leveraging our DELPhe platform to develop novel small molecule modulators of E3 ligases to uncover new therapeutic biology.
Position Summary
Plexium's biology group is seeking a highly motivated scientist to join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the discovery of novel targeted protein degradation therapeutics. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of cancer biology and experience with the characterization of small molecule inhibitors in various cell-based assays. This is a hands-on position that requires an ability to be productive in a rapidly evolving environment. Responsibilities include target validation and mechanism of action studies, development of disease hypotheses, and supporting lead optimization. The successful candidate will be a team player who enjoys working closely with others to solve complex problems.
