Responsibilities:
- Conduct experiments to identify and validate drug targets.
- Support assay design, optimization, validation, and data analyses.
- Design and execute molecular and cell biology experiments.
- Troubleshoot and analyze complex data in support of drug discovery projects.
- Presentation of results and conclusions both orally and written.
- Includes executing cellular/immunology cell-based functional assays to test and analyze molecule activities, investigate the mechanism of action of biological drugs in vitro and in vivo, and ultimately deliver preclinical evidence for future clinical testing.
- Develop and perform immune functional cell-based assays with extensive immunology research- related technologies (e.g., human whole blood, primary human and mouse/rat leukocyte isolation, cellular activation and differentiation, cytokine assays, FACS etc.)
- Conducting and analyzing FACS based experiments including receptor occupancy assays (min. 1 years of experience)
- Isolation, purification and culture of freshly isolated different populations of leukocyte from human, mouse and rat for ex vivo assays. Preparing cellular materials for genomic and proteomic assessment
- Execute experiments, analyze, interpret and present experimental data Basic
Requirements:
- B.S in Immunology and or cell biology or related discipline with 1 or more years of work experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry or an academic institute, in the field of immunology
- Understanding of in vitro assays and assay development
- Knowledge and skills of flow cytometry Additional
