Job Summary

BumoLearning teachers are passionate about the intellectual and emotional development of our students. It is our goal to find and hire equally passionate and enthusiastic teachers to join our Educare team. Teachers will be responsible for maintaining a positive and appropriate educational environment in their tutoring sessions, and help students successfully reach their academic goals. BumoLearning believes in the effectiveness of one-on-one tutoring.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage tutoring sessions with multiple students
• Able to teach all levels of Biology
• Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum including lesson plans adapted to individual student needs and learning styles
• Answer student questions related to the course content
• Assess student progress and develop strategies, goals, and plans for academic success
• Provide feedback to students regarding their progress
• Excellent communication, explanation, and listening skills with students
• Provide a safe and engaging learning environment that encourages students' interest in learning
  
  

Required Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. in science, preferably Biology
• Have teaching or tutoring experience in Science
• Available to work in PST and EST time zones.
• Flexible schedule and available to teach afternoon and evening times as well as weekend availability
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience teaching/tutoring
