At Goldfinch, we are pioneering a new approach to discover and develop precision medicines for kidney disease. Where others see risk, we see opportunity to make an impact and redefine the standard of care for patients with kidney disease. We recognize the importance of collaboration, and strive to work alongside people with kidney diseases, their families and clinicians to develop innovative treatments for conditions where limited options exist.

We're looking for teammates who relish the challenge and are compelled to leave a positive mark on the lives of colleagues and the patients we serve alike. If embracing creativity and candor, thriving on challenges, and empowering your teammates to succeed excites and inspires you, join us as we champion hope and work to advance our aspiration to save kidneys and end dialysis.

Currently, we are seeking three different types of Biology Scientists:

• Senior/Principal Scientist, Biology: A highly motivated Senior Scientist or Principal Scientist with a strong background in renal biology to join our Biology Department and contribute to building our pipeline for renal diseases. The successful candidate will focus on driving scientific research to establish and validate novel targets for kidney disease. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of scientists, development, characterization and implementation of models of kidney disease based on human biology, and implementing models for evaluation of potential therapeutics.

• Scientist I/II, Biology: A highly motivated Scientist I/II with strong image acquisition and image analysis skills across a variety of different systems and/or iPSC and organoid differentiation experience. They will develop, implement and execute in vitro assays required for the advancement of high priority projects and Goldfinch Bio's Product Engine. This position is part of a close-knit team focused on developing cutting edge assays for target validation and compound screening using in vitro models including human-derived kidney organoids.

• Senior Research Associate/Scientist I, Biology: A highly motivated Senior Research Associate/Scientist with a strong background in cell culture and molecular and cellular biology to join our Biology Department and contribute to building our pipeline for renal diseases. The successful candidate will support the new target discovery efforts by maintaining and differentiating iPSCs and other cell lines, performing experiments, and managing the laboratory's inventory.
