Dewberry is currently seeking an Environmental Scientist Intern in our Fairfax, VA office. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to spend the summer working with a team of talented environmental professionals and apply their academic knowledge in the environmental field. The individual will assist professionals with work associated with aspects of natural resource inventory, analysis, wetland delineation, permitting and mitigation.
*Local candidates preferred, no housing stipend provided
Required Skills & Required Experience:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Successful candidate must also posses excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Working knowledge MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
In accordance with applicable Executive Order 14042 and related requirements, all prospective hires for this position, performing work for the federal government, will be required to demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19, or qualify for an exemption to this vaccination requirement. Such proof of vaccination, or written request for exemption, will be required, following receipt of written offer.
