We're Hiring a Environmental Specialist, based in Hatfield PA, for our Pennsylvania and Michigan regions. In this role, you will be responsible for the environmental regulatory aspects for all CFG Facilities. You will report to the Executive Director of Growth and Capital Projects and will be a vital component of keeping our barns operating efficiently.

Responsibilities

What You Would Be Doing
  • Be a resource for projects that require environmental permits for all CFG facilities and for environmental issues
  • Oversee CFG Hatfield, Emmaus and Coldwater Facilities Industrial Waste Water Discharge Permit and Waste Water
  • Manage all facets of CFG Air permits. Pennsylvania and Michigan, including a PA Title V Operating Permit to maintain compliance with permit requirements
  • Manage all facets of Hatfield and Coldwater General NPDES for Stormwater to maintain compliance with permit requirements
  • Manage all regulatory facets of Hatfield and Emmaus Public Water System
  • Staying abreast of any environmental changes, and work to influence them in a positive way from a CFG viewpoint.
  • Attend annual meetings with DEP at CFG as needed
  • Maintain communication with key industry/regulatory contacts
  • Vendor Management


Qualifications

This Role is for You if:
  • You have a 4 year environmental resource or science degree
  • You have experience in multisite management
  • You are willing to travel 25% of the time
  • You have an understanding of applicable environmental laws and regulations
  • You are able to work independently
  • You are multi-task oriented and a team player
  • You possess a valid driver's license
  • You have good verbal and written communication skills
  • You are able to work in inclement weather conditions
  • You are able to tolerate a industrial system environment, which may include animal dander, manure, dust, blood, odors and frequently noisy conditions
