Responsibilities:

The Director of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) is responsible for developing and driving initiatives and priorities for enterprise-wide functions related to environmental, social and corporate governance topics. This individual will be equipped to describe, monitor and analyze related initiatives across Post Holdings and its companies. This role will be required to communicate initiatives effectively to a variety of constituents.

This is a role where the candidate will need to flex responsibilities/role depending on the particular initiative, and the existence or non-existence of additional internal resources and fill in where necessary. The position reports to the Chief Operation Officer and works closely with external stakeholders to achieve the policy goals in regard to ESG best practices and standards.

Environmental/Sustainability Responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior executives to set the strategy, objectives, and priorities for ESG initiatives.

Ensure timely, consistent status reporting of ESG initiatives and KPIs.

Provide technical expertise on key issues related to environmental and social impact assessment and on sustainability risks in the design, preparation, implementation and supervision of operations taking into consideration best industry practices and standards.

In collaboration with the Director, Investor Relations and outside consultant support, serve as the ESG expert on investor calls. Advise Investor Relations team on ESG related questions from external constituents.

Manage survey submissions and investment research/ratings firm reports (examples: CDP, MSCI, Sustainalytics, etc.) with support from Post's environmental consultant, including content submissions/challenges, deadlines and communication of reporting results to key internal constituents.

Serve as coordination point to ensure Operating Company sustainability-related customer surveys, requests and requirements are fulfilled accurately, consistently and with a strategic mindset. Manage records of submissions to assure consistency of responses.

With collaboration and support from the Director, Corporate Communications, and outside agencies, develop and coordinate communications to internal and external audiences, including Post's annual ESG report, ESG communications and ancillary materials.

Serve as the project lead on any projects to describe Post's ESG approach, strategy and programs.

Provide technical ESG assistance and support to operating companies, including coaching, best practice sharing and advocacy

Lead the assessment and measurement of financial impact of Sustainability initiatives, reporting to senior executives on a regular basis.

Identify all key potential social and environmental impacts and risks of transactions and ensure that their magnitude and significance are well understood by internal parties and approvers.

Manage and conduct environmental and social safeguarding due diligence.

Stay current on ESG trends and developments, translating them into opportunities where applicable and sharing with key contacts at the Operating Companies. This includes monitoring and understanding ESG programs of our competitors. Proactively bring recommendations to the executive team for additional programs and actions.

Chair and organize the agenda for periodic ESG Committee meetings, compiling notes and managing follow-ups afterward.

As acquisitions occur, onboard new standalone businesses to Sustainability and other applicable programs.

Qualifications:

Knowledge and demonstrated interest in ESG topics through experience and/or educationAn advanced degree in engineering, environmental management, environmental sciences, or relevant field is preferred

6 - 8 years of relevant experience in working with public sector firms across industry sectors to identify environmental/social risk and issues and develop mitigation measures to ensure compliance with good international industry practice; Manufacturing experience is preferred

Excellent project management and communication skills

Comfort operating in dynamic environment, particularly with non-uniform approaches

Ability to achieve outcomes through influence and to develop plans in coordination with others, enjoys collaboration
