*Posting Summary:*Support and coordinate key project activities for the Farm Viability, Forest Business, and Maple Business program areas. Promote continued outreach and education to the working lands business community in Vermont and the Maple community throughout the Northeast. Maintain program and team processes and procedures and perform other important functions including implementation of surveys, evaluations, and promotion and communications activities. Perform data analysis and modelling in concert with program partners and participants.
*Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience):*Bachelor's degree. business, economic development or forestry or related field and two years' experience in business management, project management and /or financial management required. Ability to handle multiple divergent tasks, prioritize workflow and work independently.Experience with multichannel promotional activities. Proficient with productivity software including spreadsheet expertise and comfort learning new software required.
*Desirable Qualifications:* Excel expertise desirable. MS Office proficiency desirable. Experience with website maintenance a plus Experience with MS Publisher or adobe in design Experience working with farm or forestry businesses
*Other Information:*Office location will be based in one of the Extension field offices in Vermont where space exists.
Six month probationary period required.
*Special Conditions:*Position located in different city, Non-standard work hours required, Bargaining unit position, Travel to and from worksites required
