**Summary:**

This position is responsible for providing a central resource to building occupant groups for environmental support. Key responsibility for managing environmental programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to chemical management, hazardous waste, storm water, air compliance, wastewater and emergency response. This position reports to the Facebook Technologies LLC., Global Environmental Manager.

**Required Skills:**

1. Lead emergency response including after-hours on-call coverage.

2. Manage regulated waste disposal (Universal Waste, RCRA, Non-RCRA) activities and programs.

3. Draft regulatory reports, applications.

4. Develop and implement environmental compliance tools and materials for the facility.

5. Maintain positive relationships with environmental regulatory agencies for the facility, manage permits, regulatory inspections, and reporting.

6. Partner with various cross functional teams, including Facilities, Project Management, researchers, Security, and Corporate EHS initiatives, including metrics reporting and audits.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

7. B.S/B.A. degree in Environmental Studies or Environmental Engineering

8. 7+ years experience with Environmental Management with managing, developing and implementing environmental programs

9. Experience managing multiple contractors supporting environmental programs and site hazardous waste services

10. Experience with Federal, State and Local regulations with Environmental Field including but not limited to Hazardous Materials management, air permitting, stormwater, industrial wastewater, CERS, hazardous waste and universal waste

**Preferred Qualifications:**

11. Experience influencing without authority

12. Experience working independently

13. MS degree
