We need a scientist who has strong technical skills in immunology. Our team contributes to target identification/validation, mechanism of action (MOA) studies using both molecular biology and pharmacological approaches. Independently design, develop, and validate cellular/immunology cell-based functional assaysTest and analyze molecule activitiesInvestigate the MOA of biological drugs in vitro and in vivo, and ultimately deliver preclinical evidence for clinical testing.

Key Objectives:
Develop immune functional cell-based assays with extensive immunology research- related technologies (e.g., human whole blood, primary human and mouse/rat leukocyte isolation, cellular activation and differentiation, cytokine assays, FACS etc.)Background in designing, conducting, and analyzing FACS based experiments including receptor occupancy assaysDesign, screen and analyze data for protein or small molecule drugs in cell-based immune assaysInvestigate cellular signal transduction, develop cellular activity assays, cytokine/receptor signaling (western, qPCR, intracellular staining and FACS analysis, ELISA, ELISPOT, confocal/image related techniques)Isolation, purification and culture of freshly isolated different populations of leukocyte from human, mouse and rat for ex vivo assays. Preparing cellular materials for genomic and proteomic assessmentIndependently design and complete experiments, analyze, interpret and present experimental data

Basic Qualifications:
B.S or M.S in immunology, cell biology or related subject areaResearch experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry or an academic institute, in the field of immunology preferred

Additional Skills/Preferences:
Deep understanding of in vitro assays and assay developmentHigh knowledge and skills of flow cytometryUnderstand and be familiar with in vivo animal models
