Molecular Biology RA

Calling all molecular biologists! There are characterization efforts underway that are driving the development of a game-changing therapeutic platform at one of the most cutting-edge gene therapy companies in Cambridge. This contract-to-hire opportunity is perfect for a Research Associate who wants to contribute to drug development processes in a very meaningful way.

Responsibilities:

Perform bioanalytical assays and drug substance batch review

Support assay development efforts to create and refine routine testing methods

Become a subject matter expert on the composition and content of the drug substance in the company's novel therapeutic

Key Qualifications:

Project, internship, or professional experience with at least 2 of the following molecular biology technology techniques: (1) qPCR/ddPCR, (2) Western Blot, (3) DNA engineering/modification/manipulation, (4) ELISA

General Qualifications:

BS or MS in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related field

1-3 years of relevant laboratory experience

Proven success with task prioritization

Prior experience with gene therapy is a plus, but only a general understanding of how gene therapy works is a requirement
