Sr. Scientist I Large Molecule Merck Kenilworth
  • Support of routine release/stability, in-process, and/or cell-line development testing
  • Education: BS (-i-5yrs) or MS (-i-1yr) of relevant experience with analytical chemistry or biologics
Requirements:
  • Must have current cellular/ molecular biology and immunoassay experience
  • Experience in analyzing biologics including monoclonal antibodies and/or other therapeutic proteins in one or more of the following techniques:
  • ELISA (HCP, proA) and binding potency assay
  • qPCR and basic molecular biology techniques (gel electrophoresis, etc.)
  • High-throughput liquid handling system, e.g. Tecan, Bravo, etc.
  • Analytical software including Softmax Pro, Empower, ChemStation
  • Good documentation practices & utilization in electronic lab notebooks
  • Sample submission & sample management
  • Monitoring of controlled temperature units
