The Zebulon campus of Georgia Military College is now searching for adjunct professors in the following discipline: Human Anatomy and Physiology (I and II) Applicants must hold at least a Master's degree in Biology or a Master's degree or advanced degree including degrees, such as M.D., D.V.M., or D.D.M. and 18sh or 30qh of graduate course work in botany, biology, pharmacology, microbiology, or zoology. Previous college level teaching experience is highly preferred. Transcript must reflect that applicant took Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II at the minimum of undergraduate level. Applicants with the flexibility to teach in the day is preferred, however day and evening classes may be available. Contracts are for 9 weeks; renewable upon availability of classes and satisfactory job performance. Applicants must provide a copy of unofficial transcripts and current resume or CV. Letters of interest, a maximum of three letters of reference, and a statement of teaching philosophy will also be accepted for review. These documents should be uploaded directly to each application. If hired, an official copy of transcripts for highest degree related to the teaching position will be required. * Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working. Qualifications Requirements: * Master's degree * 18 graduate-level semester hours OR 30 graduate-level quarter hours in the teaching discipline * Teaching experience * Proficient technological skills, including Microsoft Office Preferred: * Master's degree in the teaching discipline * Doctorate degree in the teaching discipline * 1+ years of relevant teaching experience * Experience with LMS (Moodle or Blackboard) * Knowledge of learner-centered teaching * Proficient classroom technology skills
