You will be a key professional in the Health, Safety, Environment, Facilities & Business Resilience (HSEF) department. You will establish strong working relationships with the site leadership team and the employees. You will report directly to the HSEF Process Excellence Director, with a matrix reporting relationship to the site HSEF Manager. You will be a key HSEF resource within the plant, driving sustainable health, safety & environmental programs through incorporation of impactful operating processes. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct hazard analysis and implement controls to reduce risk and integrate safe work practices into manufacturing operations * Support programs which ensure regulatory compliance and environmental protection including air pollution, wastewater and hazardous waste management, and sustainability projects * Support programs which promote employee health and safety and prevent work-related injuries and disease * Conduct inspections and assessments * Provide technical assistance * Coach employees on HSEF requirements * Identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities * Ensure compliance to regulations and Honeywell standards * Pursue Six Sigma Green Belt certification YOU MUST HAVE: * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, from an accredited college or university, in Engineering, Manufacturing, Safety, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Facilities, Occupational Health, or Industrial Hygiene related field * Due to export control restrictions, must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident * Must attain degree between December 2022 - June 2023 WE VALUE: * Demonstrated academic excellence * Willingness to relocate * Able to participate, in an internship, prior to completing current degree program * Ability to demonstrate the Honeywell Behaviors: getting results, champion change, foster teamwork, effective communicator and integrative thinker * Excellent oral and written communication skills Additional Information * JOB ID: HRD900141 * Category: Health, Safety & Environment * Location: 1944 E Sky Harbor Circle,Phoenix,Arizona,85034,United States * * Due to US export control laws, must be a US citizen, permanent resident or have protected status.
