The Environmental Services Coordinator supports Snyder Environmental's Environmental Consulting line by compiling reports for clients and regulatory agencies and will be working under the direct oversight of the Environmental Consulting line. This position may conduct environmental site assessments according to ASTM Standards, perform surveys for asbestos, lead-based paint, and/or mold to include air sampling in compliance with federal and sate requirements.

Essential Position Responsibilities:
  • Participate in field visits to document environmental conditions, conduct interviews to identify environmental conditions as part of the due diligence process.
  • Work as a team in the preparation of technical report, download site inspection information and photographs, complete applicable sections of environmental due diligence reports, and be available as a resource to answer site-specific questions for reporting purposes.
  • Recognize and execute opportunities to expand core client relationships
  • Prepare technical reports based on field activities and findings.
  • Perform desktop reviews of historical site data.
  • Be a positive company representative in all internal and external communications.
  • Maintain and build the Snyder Environmental brand.
  • Work collaboratively with senior scientists or project managers.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Occasional utilization of: half-face or full face respirator; steel toed footwear; earplugs; protective eyewear; hardhat.

Safety Sensitive: Yes

Travel: This classification requires travel to various client locations. Travel typically involves day trips within the state or neighboring states, resulting in longer workdays; and may include extended and/or further travel, resulting in multiple days and overnights. Long-distance drives and air travel may be required.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a field related to the environmental sciences; applicable licenses for assigned territory necessary to inspect/handle hazardous materials such as asbestos; lead; mold; etc.

Qualifications:

Excellent organizational, editorial, and communication skills1-5 years of technical editing and production coordination experience. Ability to work successfully with project teams. Familiarity with word processing, graphics, and print production systems. Demonstrated ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet frequent deadlines. Commitment to quality and process improvement. Proficiency with Microsoft Office to include in Microsoft Word (including Word templates), Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
