Manufacturing EHS Specialist | Crucial Lead Role | Mature Stable Employer

We are seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to join our manufacturing client.

This a mature, stable company looking for a leader to own environmental compliance programs and develop safety initiatives. While this is an older production site, it is experience capital investments. Plus you will partner with and learn from an experienced Site Manager with an extensive background in manufacturing safety.

Our client needs someone to put creative energy in to the role, drive positive change through behavioral based safety initiatives, provide training to employees and more! You will work closely with site leadership to ensure proper environmental audits and permits are met and hold high standards for environmental regulatory requirements.

Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Strong Manufacturing Safety Background.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, and Safety programs such as confined space, hot work, line break, lock out tag out
  • Some experience in Environmental Compliance or experience working effectively with regulatory agencies on permitting. Water/Wastewater. RC14001
