If you have marine estimating experience or are a ship repair Project Manager, Ship Superintendent or have other shipyard field experience and are looking to transition to an in-office estimating role, please keep reading!

We are a privately owned shipyard that owns some of the largest docks on the East Coast. We are in search of a Junior Marine Estimator to prepare labor, material and subcontractor estimates for work on the repair of US Navy, Coast Guard, cargo and cruise ships.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Assisting in estimating projects of varying size and complexity
  • Identifying and mitigation project-related risk
  • Assisting with subcontractor bid and proposal review
  • Preparing work schedules
  • Assisting in the presentation of cost proposals to clients
What You Need for this Position
  • At least 1 year of marine estimating experience OR ship repair field experience
