Primary Job Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field and with 5+ years of relevant experience in the Pharma/Biotechnology industry is required.
  • Previous work on CNS targets and/or experience in Alzheimer's/Parkinson's drug development is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with mammalian cell culture, stable cell line generation, and transfection/transduction techniques (cDNA, CRISPR, lentivirus, AAV).
  • Expertise in Biochemistry-based assay development and compound testing.
  • Experience in molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA manipulation, and PCR-based assays.
  • Track record of advancing novel therapeutic agents from discovery into preclinical and ideally subsequent clinical development.
  • Prior experience working with transgenic animal models and running in vivo behavioral assays is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to work within a project team setting, across functions, and within academic and industry collaborations.
