Responsibilities:
What Youll Be DoingCadmus seeks a highly motivated Project Coordinator to support contracts with government clients. This position is being offered in Cadmus Government Sector/Water Team and will support contracts with EPA and other government clients in the areas of drinking water and water quality. Successful candidates will have experience providing administrative and coordination support to projects or tasks in consulting or a similar field. Successful candidates will also have experience working on multiple projects and with multiple managers to complete quality work on time and within budget.Candidates must have a record of professional excellence, advanced problem-solving skills, exceptional oral and written communication, experience supervising staff, and experience managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously. They should be able to manage tasks and projects from start to finish with minimal input from supervisors, be highly motivated to perform and learn, able to work collaboratively and independently, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading meetings with clients and senior staff. Candidates must have a professional demeanor and will have distinguished themselves with academic and professional excellence and a clearly demonstrated work ethic. Cadmus emphasizes working effectively in a team environment with a commitment to the highest standards of excellence.Responsibilities:Serving as a project coordinator in close collaboration with senior team members to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables to clients.Managing tasks, schedules, and budgets with minimal supervision and ensuring consistency and quality of all products.Responsible for project coordination activities:Preparing agendas and taking meeting minutes on internal and external calls.Keeping track of changes in long- and short-term project goals.Making sure that managers and technical staff are prepared for relevant meetings and meet project deadlines.Preparing assignments for individuals and technical project teams.Preparing briefings for project managers and clients.Tracking the status of project deliverables, milestones, and feedback.Tracking schedules, action items, decisions, risk, issues, lessons learned, and project budgets.Documenting standard operating procedures.Responsible for coordination activities across projects:Providing administrative support to help facilitate information sharing and planning between project control, contracts, accounting, and project teams.Supporting the efforts of multiple project managers at the same time.Gathering and analyzing data necessary to support staff planning.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: A Bachelors degree with coursework in business management, public administration, or other relevant areas and 3 years of relevant work experience.Project coordinator experience including budget management.Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.Must demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing environments, and work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Must demonstrate strong communications skills, both written and verbal.Must be able to work under deadlines.Must demonstrate professionalism and a positive work ethic in all situations with coworkers, project managers, and clients.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Some domestic travel may be required post-COVID.Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S. Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizen.Desired Qualifications:Experience as a project coordinator supporting EPA contracts or task orders.Classwork or professional experience with EPA regulatory programs, water science, or environmental policies and programs.Experience coordinating proposal efforts and/or developing detailed project plans.Experience managing subcontractors and teaming partners.Experience with financial planning and resource management including familiarity with management and accounting software (e.g., MS Project, Costpoint, SharePoint, and MS Teams).Additional Information: To be considered, please submit the following materials:A one-page cover letter describing your qualifications, interests, and career objectives.
