Responsibilities
  • Provide EHS leadership and interactive safety coaching to plant teams through training and change process
  • Provides guidance to Anagram leadership on matters concerning EHS
  • Develops, leads, and implements EHS programs designed to improve the safety culture among all employees.
  • Assesses operations to identify safety and environmental related issues and develop solutions.
  • Collaborates with plant management to cultivate an injury free work environment.
  • Leads proper accident and near miss investigations; root cause analysis; develops specific recommendations for improvement and corrective action; ensures all required documentation is completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and OSHA rules and regulations.
  • Drives continuous improvement through safety analyses, audits, and investigations
  • Implement a PCHI Supply Chain Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) program
  • Ensure consistent safety protocols are in place, to include PPE, Environmental Safety, and all OSHA guidelines
  • Develop processes and procedures to maintain safety and compliance to occupational and environmental standards by local, state, and federal requirements
  • Develop monthly safety reporting for Anagram to include accident claims, recordable injuries, near misses, and other key metrics with a focus on improvement strategies and risk management
  • Execute a safety incident review process for supply chain consistent with PCHI enterprise
  • Analyze data/create EHS dashboards related to health and safety to identify trends and prevent further occurrences
  • Develop and execute Anagram safety site review and audit process, specific to Anagram locations
  • Review machine /equipment and processes, existing and new, for machine guarding and ergonomic considerations/safety requirements
  • Develop consistent safety procedures and policies
  • Create and provide safety awareness materials to improve safety culture
  • Maintain compliance with all federal and state agencies on reporting
  • Develop consistent and accurate audits in compliance with federal and state requirements
  • Support other PCHI Supply Chain locations as needed

Deliverables
  • Develop and implement a world class safety program
  • Conduct safety risk assessments of all Anagram facilities and prioritize risks and solution recommendations
  • OSHA Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR)
  • OSHA Days Away Restricted and Transfer Cases (DART)
  • Quarterly Health and Safety Audits in Anagram Plants and DCs
  • Reduction in Anagram Locations Accidents/Near Miss Incidents
  • Ensure Life Protecting systems are in place and followed with discipline:
  • Electrical Safety
  • Work at Heights
  • Confined Space Entry
  • LOTO
  • HazMat

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health, Engineering, or related discipline preferred
  • Required experience of EHS in a manufacturing setting (7 years)
  • Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience developing and maintaining health safety programs
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, state and federal health and safety regulations
  • Strong background of forming relationships with federal and state regulators
  • Ability to analyze data and create safety process Improvements
  • Willing to travel as needed to support PCHI enterprise
