The candidate will support Space Environment, Safety, and Health department (ESH) in the ongoing management and enhancement of ESH programs and regulatory compliance.
Will develop, administer, implement, and maintain environmental programs in accordance with EPA and other governmental and state requirements and regulations.
Will develop, administer, implement, and maintain Safet and Health programs in accordance with Cal/OSHA and other governmental and state requirements and regulations.
Furthermore, the candidate will manage elements of air quality, hazardous waste and storm water, permits, plans, drinking water standards along with remediation efforts.
Responsible to review and analyze safety and environmental documents used by federal, state, and local
The candidate will also evaluate environmental impacts of air and chemical programs on company operations.
Responsible to oversee preparation of environmental impact reports for new construction projects, building processes and permit changes.
Candidate will assist with ESH program
assessments, mishap investigations and environmental incidents reviews.
Candidate will also be responsible to develop and
deliver contractual data deliverables, collecting and delivering various ESH metrics, supporting organizational ESH initiatives, and the development of program enhancements relative to overall environmental compliance.
The candidate must be able to work on-call and varied shifts on occasion and may be required to travel infrequently.

Bachelors degree with 2 years experience and/or equivalent experience and education.
Candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of environmental regulations and associated compliance programs.
Possess experience and knowledge in OSHA subject areas.
Strong passion for environmental stewardship and overall

Professional ESH experience in a manufacturing, test, or
Experience in managing Hazardous Waste\contractors, interfacing with regulatory agencies and a solid knowledge of Cal-OSHA hazardous waste regulations.
Strong written and communication skills, ability to multi-task in a very dynamic work environment, and strong interpersonal and teaming skills.
Possess experience and knowledge in ESH subject areas, particularly Hazardous Waste, process waste water, storm water and SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure) regulations.
