responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the Biologist position will be to support DMPK department Total LCMS sample quantitation, Proteomics sample preparation operations and department sample management. Experience with LCMS is required. Utilization of electronic sample management tools and systems is a plus. Position will require the ability to clearly communicate with multi-disciplinary scientific teams.
qualifications:
MS or PhD Degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry or proteomics related technical discipline with typically 2+ (MS), or 0+ (PhD) years of relevant experience. Experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry setting or academic core lab is preferred.
Hands-on experience in operating and troubleshooting HPLC and Triple quad MS platform.
Experience with Analyst software preferred.
Experience in LCMS method development and strong data interpretation skills is required.
Attention to detail.
Highly organized.
Proven problem-solving ability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with computers and software including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Ability and willingness to work effectively both independently and in a highly collaborative environment.
Ability to bend, crouch and lift items up to 50lbs. throughout daily activities.
