Job Details
Key tasks and responsibilities
Design, execute, troubleshoot and interpret biological experiments to drive early discovery and lead optimization projects
Nominate and validate targets to support the strategic focus of the company
Manage CROs for outsourced studies
Skills and attributes
Experience implementing biochemical and cell-based assays to probe compound mechanism of action, target engagement and the phenotypic consequences of target modulation in cells.
Ability to manage the technical and strategic needs of projects, and to concisely communicate results and recommendations. Leadership experience is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including maintenance of an electronic notebook required
Education and experience
Ph.D. in Biology or a life science with post-doctoral experience leading to publications in peer reviewed journals.
Hands on experience in hematology or oncology
