We are seeking a EH&S Data Analyst to work with us as at our Customer site in Merck West Point in West Point PA for 1st shift, Monday to Friday, full time 8:00-4:00pm

This exciting opportunity

The Environmental Health &Safety Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing databases of chemical inventories and purchased chemicals and utilizing this data to prepare reports for the client as needed.

About you

You Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate to advanced skills in Excel. As you will be working in a chemical environment you must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have an eye for detailed work.

Ideally youwill have knowledge of EHS Safety Management Systems, OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulations. You ideally will have the ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets or Safety Data Sheets

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills required. Must be able to work independently as well as within a team environment and Solid understanding of Six Sigma concepts required.

What will you also need?

You will have a Bachelors degree in business, or Finance preferred. Experience in data analysis required, preferably in chemical data analysis or environmental data analysis. Chemical industry experience is preferred but not required
