RESCOM Environmental Corp is seeking an Environmental Scientist to work remotely from the Midwest.

RESCOM is a full-service environmental firm conducting nationwide property assessments and mitigations for such industries as telecommunications, real estate, and infrastructure. RESCOM provides environmental regulatory advice in the form of practical reports which protect clients from environmental liability.

Typical Job Duties:

Complete fieldwork for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Biological Assessments, and National Environmental Policy Act Assessments (NEPAs).

Conduct background research.

Create coherent, organized reports from background research and field findings.

Update trackers and databases.

Communicate with stakeholders.

Communicate with project teams.

Job Requirements:

Travel: Approximately 50% travel. Travel throughout the United States.

Physical Demands: Walking alone or in teams for long periods of time in various environments from major cities to rural landscapes.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree.

Six months of field experience - professional or through college coursework.

Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Good sense of direction.

Strong writing and editing skills.

Skill and patience to produce high quality work.

Ability to follow standards.

Disciplined to work independently.

Strong computer skills.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe software, and GIS.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or related field.

1 year of professional field experience.

Knowledge of NEPA and Section 106 guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
