Part-time faculty members are needed to teach college level art history and art appreciation courses. These positions are located at the Alexandria campus. Faculty will teach courses in-person or remotely as necessary.

Teach college level art history and appreciation courses in-person or remotely for the Alexandria Campus of Northern Virginia Community College. Create and distribute course syllabus based upon the current college-wide course content summary, keep accurate attendance records, use required text books and resources when necessary, use LMS for course delivery and grade roster, post final grades within 48 hours of final exams, participate in SLO assessment when necessary, adhere to NOVA college policies
*Special Assignments:*May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
*KSA's/Required Qualifications:*Adept knowledge of instructional technologies. Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills. Ability to work with a diverse student population.

Master's degree in art history or a master's degree with eighteen graduate semester credit hours in art history is required.
