NanoTech Pharma Inc. is an exciting start-up company using proprietary technologies for the development of complex injectable pharmaceutical drug product to target a variety of therapeutic areas based on different types of drug modalities. We are actively seeking innovative and motivated scientists to join our R&D team. Our lab facilities are located at Hillsborough, NJ.
Responsibilities
· Design, perform and analyze in vitro and in vivo experiments to address scientific/technical questions and to support preclinical drug product development
· Conduct various in vitro cell-based assays such as ELISA, immunostaining, cell proliferation assays, drug substance/drug product efficacy assays, mRNA transfection efficiency analysis
· Design experiments and manage CROs on in vivo studies, e.g., toxicity, PK and PD experiments
· Work with fellow scientists within the group and with external laboratories, and present ideas and results to a cross-functional team. May mentor and direct other scientists
Desirable Qualifications
· PhD with extensive experience and strong understanding in molecular biology, cancer biology or related field
· Experience with mammalian cell culture is necessary. Proficiency in basic molecular biology techniques
· Experience with the following techniques is desired: mRNA production using in vitro transcription (IVT) method; mRNA purification; In vitro and in vivo evaluation on the performance of mRNA-based therapeutics, e.g., mRNA transfection efficiency
· Strong problem-solving skills and effective interpersonal and communication skills
· Track record of productivity evidenced by publications and/or patents
