Senior Manager / Associate Director, Biology Operations at Revolution Medicines

Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit high-value frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company's R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding scientists in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Opportunity:

As a key member of our Cancer Biology team, you will:

Oversee lab operations, including consumable inventories and supply agreements, laboratory equipment/service contracts, and EH&S regulatory compliance, and budgeting.

Represent Cancer Biology in lab facility expansion and design efforts.

Assist in building and maintaining electronic inventories of engineered cell lines, plasmids, and other lab stocks.

Assist with management of screening and in vitro experimental activities at CROs.

Proactively identify and implement strategies to enhance experimental efficiency, quality, and throughput, including implementation of laboratory automation.

Collaborate with team members to design and execute experiments and workflows and to improve laboratory environment, efficiency and output.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

BS/MS degree in relevant scientific discipline and 10+ years of experience in project coordination or management in an industry setting.

At least 3+ years of managerial experience with proven capability to lead both internal and external groups.

Experience with laboratory robotics, and hands-on laboratory skills for optimizing and validating automated processes highly desirable.

Experience with biochemical and cell based assays for small molecule drug discovery a plus.

Highly organized, with excellent record keeping and written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines and work efficiently in a fluid environment.
