Siduma Overview
Siduma Therapeutics is the latest Craig Crews company leveraging its extensive heterobifunctional molecule expertise towards a new, disruptive therapeutic platform targeting disease causing proteins.
?Role
To design and leverage biophysics, biochemistry and other assay techniques as required to develop an understanding of the mechanistic details underpinning the Siduma platform.
To robustly characterize and rapidly deploy the learnings of the Siduma mechanism to demonstrate proof-of-concept in vitro and in vivo against multiple therapeutic targets.
To deploy biophysical and biochemical expertise as required to design and execute on a series of complex experiments, protocols, and procedures in support of stated platform and project goals including supporting the progression of projects to IND.
To independently analyze and interpret results and identify and solve problems, using technology- and target-specific controls to characterize methods and provide context.
To effectively and concisely present data, conclusions and recommendations at platform, project and/or functional unit meetings.
Contribute to effective day-to-day lab management and operations as part of lab team. May have supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in biophysics, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related field, with postdoc and 1-2 years' experience
History of experience in multiple assay technologies such as ITC, DSF, DEL, AlphaScreen, FP, absorbance, with capability to expand repertoire of assay technologies as needed, including medium- and high-throughput methods.
A rigorous experimental mindset coupled with scientific curiosity and a results-driven approach.
Team player capable of operating effectively in a fast-paced biotech startup environment. Plans and executes research aligned with management priorities. Engages in appropriate risk-taking and work prioritization with direction and guidance from management.
Strong interpersonal skills, and strengths in verbal and written communication are important for success.
A demonstrated ability to think logically and critically. Ability to make progress on multiple projects simultaneously and aligned company priorities and focus.
Works independently, safely, and productively in the laboratory.
Shows accountability for meeting corporate, functional department or project objectives in additional to personal job performance goals and those of any subordinates.
