Job Description

Eurofins Test America is searching for a Project Management Assistant I in Knoxville, TN.

The Project Management Assistant I (PMA I) supports the Project Management staff in servicing clients to meet the Client Service Organization mission.

Project Management Assistant I responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

Sample Receipt
  • Review samples at receipt
  • Open coolers and packages received from couriers
  • Log in samples into Lab Management system
  • Proper documentation of sample receipt conditions and all client communications related to receiving samples
  • Transfer samples to designated areas
  • Assists in maintenance of walk-in coolers
  • Generates subcontract paperwork
Media
  • Maintain sample collection media inventory
  • Order supplies as needed
  • Generate sample collection media orders
Project Set-Up
  • Emails client sample receipt confirmation
  • Maintain sample collection media inventory
  • Order supplies as needed
  • Generate sample collection media orders
Project set-up:
  • Sample collection media preparation
  • Schedules courier or field sampler, as needed
  • Package sample collection media and reagent media
  • Ship sample collection media and reagent media
  • Maintain and communicate sample collection media status

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess :
  • Professional and patient with customers
  • Responsive problem solver and action oriented
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, to keep accurate records and follow instructions
  • Strong sense of personal accountability and responsibility
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
  • Computer skills, using routine software applications, such as Outlook, Office, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Confront and successfully resolve day-to-day problems
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Basic Minimum Qualifications :
  • Associates degree from an accredited university; four years client-relationship/client service experience may substitute for degree
  • 1-3 years business experience required
  • Bench chemist experience is a plus
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Knoxville, TN are encouraged to apply.
