We have made it a priority to meet with, and hire from, a diverse pool of candidates - as we believe that a range of lived experiences, voices, and perspectives directly contributes to the success of our team.
About B Lab U.S. & Canada
As the world grapples with a global pandemic, systemic racism, gross human inequality, and climate change, at B Lab we are leaning into our 15+ years of experience as drivers of systems change. Our Vision is of an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economic system for all people and the planet. Together, we are harnessing the unrivaled capacity of business and the capital markets and putting them to work addressing our greatest challenges: reducing inequality, meeting human needs, addressing the climate crisis, and stewarding our natural resources - at scale. Together with our global community, we are identifying and pivoting to effectively drive strategies for systemic change that are critical to advancing not just a recovery of the global economy but a "reset" of the economy to one where business plays an essential role in solving the social and environmental crises we face. While the challenges we are all facing will be profound, our network unites, organizes and provides infrastructure to more than 4,000 businesses (Certified B Corporations) that are demonstrated leaders in using business to meet human needs, and steward resources in ways that are accountable to stakeholders rather than shareholders.
In the US and Canadian context, this vision has a distinct approach where we are cultivating, mobilizing, and amplifying the collective impact of the B Corp community and other credible business leaders who are demonstrating stakeholder capitalism in action. We are focused on fostering and mobilizing the B Community in the U.S. & Canada to scale specific transformational business practices and public policies that systemically advance climate justice, racial equity, and a stakeholder-driven economy. This impact trio is key to our theory of change.

About the Opportunity
The Senior Program Manager for Climate Justice will be a vital member of our Strategy & Partnerships team who will co-develop and lead a business-focused program to train business leaders on the "why" and "how" of climate justice, leaning on peer-based relationships of trust and community to deepen and accelerate the learning and move businesses from theory to concrete action in centering climate action in people and justice. You will have the opportunity to leverage B Lab's 15+ years of experience in economic system reform, community engagement, and movement building, its deep commitment to antiracism and racial equity, the unique credibility and peer-to-peer mentorship of the Certified B Corp community, and the expertise of frontline experts and partners to realize these goals.
