Position Summary:

This is a fast-paced, interactive lab involved in cutting edge technology, research, and clinical immunotherapeutic programs. We seek a bright, independent, organized, motivated individual to work on exciting projects based on genome editing and therapeutic gene transfer. The candidate will be expected to work independently but coordinately with other laboratory members. We will train new personnel in project specific techniques and procedures.

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or a related field with 2 years of related research/laboratory experience.
  • A strong background in cell and molecular biology is necessary.
  • Successful candidates will be experienced in PCR, ddPCR, qPCR, protein and RNA analysis, tissue culture, gene transfer and flow cytometry.
  • The ideal candidate will be bright, a quick learner, highly motivated, organized, with great work ethic and must get along well with others.


Preferred education experience and skills:
  • Master's degree in Biological Sciences, preferred with 1 year of related research/laboratory experience.
  • Hands-on experience in cell and molecular biology highly desired.
  • Priority will be given to candidates with previous experience in PCR, ddPCR, qPCR, DNA sequencing, protein analysis, ELISA, RNA analysis, tissue culture, gene transfer and flow cytometry.
