Job Description
The Molecular Cardiology Research Institute, Tufts Medical Center, Boston, invites post-doctoral applications for a position in the laboratory of Dr. Basak Icli. We are an NIH funded lab and employ a combination of biochemical, genomic and functional genomic approaches to study non-coding RNAs and to elucidate their function in endothelial cell biology and obesity. Several novel non-coding RNAs have been identified from the adipose endothelium of obese mice. We will characterize these through a combination of approaches including functional genomics (CRISPR/Cas9), Next generation sequencing, cell lines, patient samples and_in-vivo_studies.
