Kelly Science & Clinical is currently recruiting candidates for a Direct Hire Research Assistant position at a bioremediation company in Houston TX. The overall responsibility of this entry level position is to support the fermentation experiments and activities in our biological research lab, working closely with scientists in a multi-disciplinary environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Kelly Science & Clinical is currently recruiting candidates for a Direct Hire Research Assistant position at a bioremediation company in Houston TX. The overall responsibility of this entry level position is to support the fermentation experiments and activities in our biological research lab, working closely with scientists in a multi-disciplinary environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Culture and maintain cell cultures using aseptic technique
- Clean, sterilize, and set up bioreactors
- Run bioreactor experiments based on pre-established experimental protocols
- Assist with design of experiments and updating protocols
- Maintain detailed records of experimental data
- Assist with measurements on analytical instruments (GC, HPLC)
- Analyze and present data in suitable visual or tabular form
