Are you looking to build a strong career? Then we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for an Environmental Health & Safety Manager located at our facility in Huntersville, NC.

Your Role:

As an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager, you will provide leadership, counsel, and perform as an effective facilitator to influence the development of a proactive approach to safety, health and environmental issues. You will also be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of EHS programs and procedures and will support our company's safety culture. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead site safety and environmental inspections, audits, and assessments
  • Train and develop EHS Team
  • Coordinate necessary EHS training
  • Investigate the root cause of incidences and develop corrective action plans
  • Provide direction and expertise to the engineers and contractors implementing EHS programs
  • Identify and manage risks at plant sites

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Industrial Hygiene, EHS Management, Environmental Science or a related field
  • 5+ years of related professional and progressive EHS management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations and policies including OSHA, SARA, Title V air, waste, wastewater and storm water
  • General knowledge of GMP, HACCP, AIB, and SQF requirements
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office

Icing on the cake:

  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Professional ASP, CSP, CIH, PE, CHMM certifications
