Schedule:
* This is a Full-Time Exempt position.
Tasks for the day:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Client Services staff in Huntersville, NC. Candidate will represent all the client service team from the Carolinas labs. Candidate will have direct reports in other locations associated with the Huntersville laboratory. Specific duties include:
* All aspects of hiring, scheduling, training, and career development of 10+ staff.
* Overseeing successful workload scheduling and prioritization, ensuring timely delivery of data. Reviewing work remaining, making sure daily task are completed by PM group.
* Interfacing with sales and laboratory staff to ensure client's needs are met.
* Developing and implementing effective training programs to successfully onboard and develop staff to perform within compliance of a department and Lab wide quality program.
* Assigning new accounts to PM group, reviewing quotes with sales manager, finding solutions for customers/PM group.
* Providing guidance to all PM's on customer service.
Requirements:
The position requires:
* Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, environmental science, or a closely related field. 5+ years' experience in working lab environment may substitute for degree for right candidate.
* Previous experience managing, motivating, and developing direct reports in a team environment.
* Experience and/or technical knowledge of environmental analysis terminology.
Where you work:
* Office setting, adjacent to laboratory - subject to chemicals, fumes, gasses, noxious odors, and related items in a lab and samples setting
* Work is subject to travel including overnight stays
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
