The Environmental Project Manager provides project oversight and completion of specialized tasks required on various Environmental, Hazardous Material (HM), Hazardous Waste (HW), and Fence-to-Fence (F2F) contracts
Responsibilities:
Coordinate project issues with the COR
Manage team activities, schedule/coordinate project deliverables
Develop monthly reports, support project personnel, and meet schedules
Conduct site visits with focus on HM/HW project management
Understand RCRA compliance requirements and stay current on regulatory updates
Audit effectiveness of installation EESOH-MIS HM tracking system
Complete reviews of Hazardous Waste generation and tracking
Evaluate and document 90-Day storage facility compliance and provide guidance
Monitor and track HW recycling and industrial recycling activities.
Provide guidance on environmental sampling and waste characterization
Complete EPCRA Tier II and TRI reporting
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills
Highly developed organizational, and attention to detail skills
Skilled technical writing
Ensure project requirements and deliverables are accomplished
Participate and assist in leading on-site team activities
Aid in management of deliverables
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field or eight a minimum of (8) years' experience in HM/HW management.
A minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in combination of the following disciplines':Hazardous Materials Management
Hazardous Waste operations (90-Day)
Must have a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in HM/HW management and familiarity with data tracking
Experience with Enterprise Environmental Safety and Occupational Health-Management Information System (EESOH-MIS) preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience in Project Management
Ability to obtain NACI clearance
Supervisory experience
Hazardous Materials Management
In-depth knowledge of Hazardous Waste operations & 90-Day management
Must be available for travel.
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
Ensure Quality Control of tasks and products.
