What You Will Be Doing
  • Design, build and screen mammalian expression vectors for delivery of genome editing tools (with goal of targeting human tissues)
  • Design/execute experiments based around synthetic biology
  • Present findings to the team and keep a highly detailed lab notebook with plans/timelines
What You Need for this Position
  • PhD in Bioengineering, Cell or Molecular Biology, Synthetic Biology or similar
  • Experience with CRISPR-Cas gene editing systems and delivery technology
  • Expertise in..
  • the latest molecular and cellular biology techniques
  • use of mammalian cell reporter systems, screening in human cells, and readout by FACS and NGS analysis
  • molecular biology, RNA and protein analysis
