Responsibilities:
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Entry level position will be based out of our Mineola, NY office. Seeking recently graduated individuals with a degree in soil science, geology or environmental science studies to work on site characterization/remediation projects, wetland delineation projects, environmental impact studies, soil evaluations and associated regulatory/permitting requirements.
Knowledge and/or desire to learn NY and/or NJ environmental regulatory programs as well completiing OSHA 40 hour training.
Qualifications:
Qualifications and Requirements:
A Bachelor of Science in Soils Sciences, Geology, Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Environmental Studies, or related field is required. Master's degree is a plus.
0-3 or more years of relevant work experience
Interested in learning about executing and coordinating permitting/ environmental planning and environmental assessment activities with internal/external clients and regulatory agencies.
Want to be trained in the process of regulation submittals, accurate field collection of site characterization data, wetland or environmental design, Phase I/II Environmental Assessments.
Willing to complete OSHA 40 hour training.
Field work as required
Ability and willingness travel to various client sites.
