About The Role

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the Molecular Biology team as a Research Associate. The ideal candidate will have some experience working in a laboratory setting, preparing buffers and solutions, have a close attention to detail, and the desire to support a research team in daily lab activities.

You must be a self-starter, quick learner and work well in a team atmosphere, have good communication skills, ability to adapt and thrive in working at a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support R&D team in daily lab needs
• Reagent ordering and organization
• Preparation and formulation of buffers and reagents needed for R&D
• Record formulation procedures, dispensing, labeling
• Maintain lab reagent inventory and re-stock when needed
• Maintain detailed records and documentation
• Organization of lab fridges and freezers
  

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need

• BS in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, or a related field and 1+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in an academic or industrial setting
• Strong team player and detail oriented
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read and understand SOPs and equipment user manual
• Desire to be part of a rapidly evolving organization, which requires real-time communication, flexibility, working well with others, and a willingness to learn new techniques and methods
