*How will you make an impact?*
You will join a team of scientists engaged in the development and commercialization of cell therapy products with an emphasis on cell culture systems including media and reagents. This includes innovative design of products, assay development to examine product performance, transfer manufacturing processes and testing methods. This scientist will be expected to work in a highly collaborative team environment, supporting some projects with some supervision of a senior scientist and leading some projects independently.
*What will you do?*

* Conduct experiments to optimize the mammalian cell culture reagents, formulations, and conditions.

* Design, develop, and validate the cellular/immunology cell-based functional assays.

* Troubleshoot experiments; synthesize results and present data to project team.

* Ability to learn to incorporate statistical modeling into data analysis will be expected.

* Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve protocols, processes, and approaches.

* Ability to effectively communicate technical data and summaries in the formal reports, presentations as well as active participation in staff meetings is highly desirable.

* Responsible for supporting or executing these plans to meet agreed upon deliverables and timelines.

* Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

* Due to the nature of projects, some weekend work will be required to maintain these cultures and experiments.

*How will you get here?*

* Master's Degree in Biochemistry/Immunology/Cell biology or related life sciences discipline with 1+ year of relevant working experience

* Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry/Immunology/Cell biology or related life sciences with 3+ years of relevant working experience

*Knowledge, Skills, Abilities*

* Mammalian cell culture experience required

* Strong background in immunology and/ cell biology is desired.

* Familiarity and use of cell-based imaging and assays (flow cytometry, plate reader, fluorescent microscopy)

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to identify and extract key information from peer reviewed literature.

* Participate in the design, execution, and analysis of experiments with moderate to low level of supervision.

* Highly organized, ability to maintain well documented laboratory protocols and notebooks.

* Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
