EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
What You'll DoUrban forestry management; analyzing, planting, implementingTree removal, planting and trimmingTactical rigging and problem solving, trees are a puzzleClimbing with the use of rope and saddleIdentifying trees, insect pests, and diseasesLearn to identify and care for trees/shrubs common to the regionWork outdoors year-round in all weather conditionsPartners with Public Works snow removal programMaintenance of the City's Tree Inventory with TreePlotter softwareOperate the best tools and equipment including chippers, aerial lifts, log loaders and more.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
What We're Looking ForA passion for nature, the environment and the outdoorsPreferred: Background in Forestry (educational or hands on)Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a Class A CDL - We will pay for the cost of the exam and help you prepare!
