As an Associate Environmental Scientist/Engineer, you will work in the office and field with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of experienced scientists, engineers, and consulting staff. You'll support the delivery of environmental projects by preparing reports and project documents, preparing calculations, maintaining strong relationships with internal staff and clients, evaluating and reviewing data and ensuring the environmental strategy is being followed.

Based in the Southeast US, you'll have the opportunity to support and manage multi-media projects (water, waste, air quality, audits, assessments) to help create a more sustainable world by ensuring environmental compliance, environmental management and health and safety. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or university
  • Environmental compliance multi-media experience, with an emphasis on:
  • Industrial wastewater (NPDES Permit application preparation, water quality, river modeling, NPDES categorical industrial users with effluent guidelines and calculating limits, BMP preparation, wastewater engineering)
  • Implementing and interpreting Federal Clean Air Act regulations and State equivalents, including developing air emissions inventories and air permit applications o RCRA solid and hazardous waste permitting, storage, and disposal requirements
  • Developing and implementing Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time may be required
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint

Ideally, You'll Also Have:
  • A PE license
  • Master of Science degree in Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering field from a U.S. accredited college or university
  • Strong attention to detail when making technical evaluations and reviewing reports
