Molecular Biologist Scientist
We are looking for an experienced Molecular Biologist Scientist who will play a pivotal role in establishing our learning platform, aiding in the development of next-generation cancer/antiviral therapies. The successful candidate will collaborate with a cross-functional team to create and develop next-generation therapy and treatments for cancer and other complex diseases. The ideal candidates will have a good grounding in molecular and cellular biology with knowledge of gene transcription and control mechanisms surrounding gene regulation and significantly advanced knowledge in developing novel therapeutics for cancer treatment.
The candidate should have a Ph.D. Degree in Molecular Biology/Cancer Biology. As a talented and highly motivated scientist with a strong background in Biology/Molecular Biology, you are expected to perform translational and applied research in the area of drug discovery and development. You will be studying the role of cellular mechanisms in cancer and cardiovascular diseases. You will also study the mechanisms by which tumor cells affect the pathogenesis and progression of cancer. You will be testing small molecules, Nano constructs, and macro bioconjugate in both in vitro and in preclinical mouse cancer models. You will independently execute, analyze, and interpret in vitro and in vivo experiments that support routine research activities and projects goals. You will work closely with the team to define critical path studies to support hypothesis-driven research. Proactively evaluate new technologies and develop new assays/methodologies to accelerate early-stage discovery activities and/or enhance our understanding of disease mechanisms. Support multiple projects simultaneously and work cross-functionally with colleagues and present research findings and recommendations to me and contribute to the preparation of research reports, research grants, and manuscripts. You are also expected to participate in substantial mentoring of postdoctoral fellows, junior research colleagues, or exchange students at any scientific research level.
The candidate should have excellent communication and writing skills, manuscript writing for publications in scientific journals and presentations, and assist in grant writing and report submission to funding agencies in a time-bound manner. The candidate should work independently for scientific research investigations, including concept making conducting literature reviews, collecting data, analyzing data, and presenting a project.
Must hold US Citizenship or US green card/Canadian Citizenship.
