You'll help create the foundation and culture for our scaling company. Our stealth team is dedicated to the development of paradigm-shifting non-invasive diagnostics to deeply inform the care of patients with cancer and a wide range of other diseases.

Our company was created in 2021 by 5AM Ventures through their 4:59 Initiative incubator program.

What you'll do:
  • Apply cutting-edge computational methodologies and build predictive models to empower data-driven decision making
  • Build our computational pipeline that will support us in solving a multitude of clinical questions
  • Be part of a cross-functional team, working alongside wet lab and computational colleagues to advance our technology

What you'll bring:
  • Bachelors or MS degree with 3 years relevant experience, or PhD (preferred) in bioinformatics, computer science, physical sciences and/or the life sciences
  • Familiarity with the principles of experimental design and modern data analysis paradigms is required
  • Advanced skills in R and Python preferred
  • Familiarity with Amazon AWS, Snakemake, and Nextflow is a plus
  • Machine Learning (ML) experience with genomic data sets is a big plus
  • Open and candid communication with an ability to effectively interact with all levels of the company and our collaborators
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills
  • Outstanding self-motivation that allows you to push projects forward with a large degree of independence in collaboration with other experienced scientists
  • Ability to lead or co-lead projects centered on innovative analysis of next-generation sequencing datasets
