This position is located in the Western Hemisphere Branch, Division of International Conservation, International Affairs Program (AD-IA), Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS).The incumbent will support the Marine Turtle Conservation Program and manage a global portfolio of financial and technical assistance projects focused on the conservation and protection of endangered marine turtles, and freshwater turtles and tortoises. The incumbent serves as staff specialist, liaison officer, and consultant on many complex ecological, economic, and political problems involved in formulating and guiding conservation projects with foreign governments, other U.S. agencies, national and international organizations, and individuals.
